What’s new?

We are now using Perfluorodecalin (PFD) with our Q-switch laser tattoo removal treatments!

A PFD patch is a single time use optical clearing device accessory for laser tattoo removal. A PFD patch protects the top layer of skin from thermal injury by allowing heat absorption through the silicone patch. It also allows for deeper penetration of energy.

The end result is more effective laser tattoo removal, increased patient comfort, as well as faster healing times.

What is laser tattoo removal?

Face First Laser Clinic is known for effectively removing tattoos in only a few treatments. The lasers we use remove even the darkest tattoo and restore your skin back to its original state.

How does tattoo removal work?

The laser targets the ink and shatters it and the body’s lymphatics resorb the particles and release it through the urine.  It’s important to drink a lot of water after treatment.

How many treatments do I need to remove my tattoo?

Many treatments will take place before your tattoo is completely gone, there isn’t a specific number that we can tell you before treating you.

Will the procedure scar my skin?

Typically, no. The Q-switch laser delivers the heat very quickly preserving surrounding tissue.  Cold packs are recommended after treatment.

Does the procedure hurt?

We apply topical numbing cream and we have a great cooling technology that helps you feel as comfortable as possible.

What are common side effects?

Sometimes blisters can form but heal quickly.  It’s important to follow all the aftercare instructions to promote healing.
